“Very nice facility”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

We enjoyed this aquarium, but probably would have been more enjoyable had we visited on a less busy day. We were in town during the Concours d'elegance car show. Tons of people made it a bit difficult to fully enjoy all that is offered. Parking was a bit of a challenge and had to park a block away.

“Expensive....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

....but worth it I guess! I've been to the Baltimore Aquarium so compared this to that one, Monterey has different wildlife and fish of course. Was crowded with kids when I was there by myself. It's located at the end of Cannery Row so convenient for lunch and shopping and the bus stops there!

“Awesome!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

I love the aquarium. I arrived just in time for the otter feeding and the open sea feeding, which is a DO NOT MISS event.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

I've visited this aquarium before and just had to return. Not only is it beautiful but it is educational as well. The exhibits are exciting and allow for interaction. I don't thin a full day is necessary so when planning a day allow 4 hours for the aquarium. That being said find street parking. No need to pay for a full day!

“Monteray”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

This was excellent value for money and the staff were very knowledgeable and cheerful. You can learn all about the humble sardine and mackerel in this place as well as all thing nautical. the old fishermen and women had a hard life in the early years. Very spacious place and very clean and well kept.
