This is a very attractive property beautifully sited right on the water. It appears to be quite new. It is well maintained and our room was very nicely done. We visited the hotel restaurant for breakfast; nice menu, quality food and very pleasant service. Overall, the service was very good from all the staff we encountered. While the neighborhood - Cannery Row - has an interesting history, I didn't find it that special - a little "touristy". There were several good restaurants in the area however. The nearby aquarium is very nice and worth the visit.

Had a very nice stay here. Base on other reviews we made sure to get an oceanside room away from cannery row. Even though set back a bit it looked directly across a patio area to the water. We kept the door partly open at night to enjoy the cool air and sound of the waves hitting pilings under the pier on which the end of the hotel sits on.

Did not eat in the restaurant but noticed that it has several tables with an excellent view of the bay.

Front desk and valet staff were quite friendly and helpful.

Only compaint was the daily charge for internet service. It really bugs me how the big hotel chains charge for the service in their more expensive hotels but then provide it free in their lower cost hotels.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Located right in the heart of Cannery Row, where you can walk to everything. This was our 35th anniversary, so we had to have a special place and we were not disappointed. The Clement has it all. Its modern, its designed well, and we loved our room.The bathroom was very upscale. The service was the best, especially Pat O'Neil and Michael.

I was referred to the Clement by a co-worker, and stayed 2 nights in a room with a King-sized bed and full balcony overlooking the ocean. My girlfriend and I found the room very spacious and well-furnished, the bed was perfectly comfortable and the pillows had just the right amount of softness. Our fireplace made the whole room warm and cozy in just a matter of seconds. We really appreciated the little touches like a fresh orchid in the bathroom, the bonsai and rock garden on the dresser and desk, and having a cute and cuddly sea otter stuffed animal on the bed when we arrived. The bathroom was very nice as well, with a comfortable shower and bathtub that was perfectly sized for a romantic soak for two. The location of the property was superb, with all of cannery row surrounding the hotel, so entertainment and great dining was footsteps away. Having the oceanfront balcony was priceless, we found that falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves and lapping water was incredibly relaxing. I was fortunate enough to enjoy morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony whilst a sea otter playfully danced about the water and enjoyed his breakfast (crab!). Such serene and pleasing memories like that cannot be had at just any hotel, this place is special. I cannot speak to the C restaurant or the spa since we did not have an opportunity to visit them, but I would imagine they are both as wonderful as the rest of the facilities. The staff was perfect, very helpful and polite. Every time we stepped out for the evening the bellmen always greeted us and the lobby staff would wish us well. I have no reservations in recommending this amazing place to any couple seeking a romantic and relaxing getaway. We found everything about this hotel to be a joy and simply cannot wait to return!
