If you want a pool or a $90 "jacuzzi room", this is not the place for you. But if what you're after is squeaky clean comfort for a low price, you'll love this place!
Thanks to Ericthebald for his review, because I might not have stopped in. It's one of the older, one-story, non-chain hotels that used to be so common. Nowadays they're mostly run down... well, this one was completely redone a little over two years ago, and after a nice conversation with the owner, I was pleasantly surprised by a spacious room: HD TV with DISH, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, free wireless, a power strip (I hate crawling around looking for outlets to recharge my iStuff), a well-working cooling system and -- best of all -- a comfortable, non-saggy king-sized bed. The place smelled and looked clean, down to the obviously replaced carpets and recent paint job. The bathroom was large, though the sink cabinet was small. But, hey, for $44 I'll overlook that gladly. Bathroom was as spotless as the rest, and the hotel felt safe. Very highly recommended!!
