We chose this hotel because of the high user rating, but neither of us felt that it earned that rating. It took us a while to get checked in, but the desk clerk got several calls and a guest request while we were checking in, so that was understandable. They required a $200 deposit regardless of the length of stay, which I thought was unreasonable. The clerk didn't bother to explain where our room was, so we had to drive around and find it. We were told we got a non-smoking room, and even had to sign a paper saying we would pay a $150 fee if we smoked in the room, despite the fact that our room smelled of smoke and had 2 ashtrays in it. The room was ok, very outdated and not particularly well maintained, it had an old style tv with pretty poor picture. Wifi was very slow, I tested at speedtest and it showed 100kbps download and 60kbps upload, meanwhile my 4g phone was getting over 30mbps download. Cleanliness is always most important to me, and I would say that was their best point. Not spectacular, but at least average and maybe slightly better. The breakfast was very disappointing- by far the worst breakfast I have had in a hotel in years. There was weak coffee, very watered orange juice, 2 choices of very dry and bland muffins, and toast. It was definitely better than nothing, but not in keeping with what most comparable hotels are serving. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again in the future.
