The Good:
- The cooked to order breakfast is good. Good selection of hot meals, cereals, fruit, etc. Value here cannot be beat.
- The Manager's Evening Reception. These guys aren't shy to throw a few drinks your way. Don't expect the Grey Goose martini, but the basics are there using bottom shelf liquors. Beer, wine and pretzels.

The Bad:
- The hotel is OLD! They have flat panel TVs in the rooms, which is nice. However the bathrooms are a little dated. The granite top in my room was chipped and severely cracked.
- Onsite restaurant menu is limited. OK in a pinch to get you a club sandwich or burger but not much else.

The UGLY:
- For those of you who are particular about climate control in your rooms BEWARE!! This hotel can only do heating or air conditioning, NOT both. If they deem it's cold outside and turn on the heating, you cannot get air conditioning in your room.
- The parking lot floods in heavy rain. We saw cars in up to 8 inches of water.

Overall, the staff are excellent. The hotel itself disappoints though. I will not stay here again.

Poor communication from department to department.

No heat available- to each suite--one central thermostat for the whole hotel!

Nice room. Very clean and right off of the freeway so it's easy to find. Not too many restaurants close by but there are enough for a variety.

I have stayed here a couple of times and parked my car in the parking lot after along day of preparing to move to Southern California. Woke up at 6:30 am and car was broken into with a shattered passenger window glass. GPS was stolen from my car and 5 other cars. Called MPD and found out this has also occurred the previous week, still no security to be found in parking lot to watch your cars. Nice place to stay, but if your vehicle is not safe, why stay there in the first place. Found out vehicles are park at your own risk, hotel not responsible for any theft or damage, so your assed out! No compensation for the inconvenience, just a claim form and a "have a nice Day, hope you stay with us soon again". Hotel is good, dont et me wrong, but its not safe for your vehicle....Anyone having events here please be aware of your car safety. Milpitas PD was great and understandable, and knew how to handle issue.

Believe everything you have read about all the kids. I walked in on a Saturday night and could hear the all the loud kids whooping it up in the pool. As I walked up to the desk, I overheard the security guard complaining about all the kids running around. Apparently, according to the nice desk clerks, this Embassy Suites is the PLACE TO HANG OUT WITH YOUR KIDS ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. I guess there is nothing better to do in Milpitas. According to her Happy Hour is even worse! I asked about the pool and she said that after 10 pm it's "adults only" over 18 however they don't kick out the kids until 11pm (somuch for that) and as long as the teen agers are over 18 it's a cannon ball free forall! If you are looking for a quiet place to crash in the south bay on a Saturday night, I suggest the Embassy Suites in Santa Clara.

Our stay was nothing out of the ordinary at this Embassy Suites. It had the typical indoor atrium and room setup. The room was of average size and clean. The manager's reception was a little sparse with only chips and goldfish crackers.
