I usually only stay here when all the San Francisco Starwood hotel rates are too high for what I'm willing to spend. I've stayed here many times for business, and last weekend, I booked 3 hotel rooms for my family who was visiting California for the first time. The breakfast buffet was a bonus inclusion to our rooms and the food is fairly decent, however if the buffet wasn't included with the room, I would've preferred to order from the restaurant's menu instead. Each room was very clean, and the front desk person who checked us in (I think his name was Mark) was exceptionally accommodating. I had a lot of questions about the rooms and wanted them in specific locations in the hotel, and he was patient and totally understanding of my requests. It's service like that, that keeps me coming back.

I don't exactly love the lobby area. I think it needs updating. However the rooms look almost identical to any other Westin hotel, which is what mattered to me the most. I like it when hotel chains are consistent in quality. This location also has an awesome indoor pool which, for as many times as I have stayed there, was almost always empty.

The only other thing is the location was just a few mins by car to Burlingame, and less than 20 mins by freeway to the city. But it would be pretty inconvenient to find a place to eat and hang out at that was within walking distance.

Arrived late at night for a one night stay. Staff at front desk were pleasant, helpful and speedy. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and great shower. I didn't eat breakfast but appreciated the Starbucks to go cup and coffee maker in room. It may not have been at the same level as most downtown, centrally located Westin hotels but for an airport chain, was perfect for my stay - no complaints and would stay there again. I would only say look for deals online as the website does usually have a high rate on weekdays - if you shop around, you might be able to find a lower rate.

stayed here for a conference and so glad I did. Excellent staff, rooms and hotel in great shape. Airport shuttle is complimentary. Great place for meetings and layovers. Outside of that, if you have a rental car it would be ok, not much in the immediate vicinity to do.

I was going to SF for a quick weekend trip with some friends. We were up there for a football game. This location was perfect. It was about 15 minutes away from the stadium but more like an hour away on game day. The rooms were nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. So comfortable that when some rude people were really loud in the hallway at 12:30am I couldn't move. I was too comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
