Stayed here when having to leave SFO at 6am, so had to get to airport well before then. The drivers on the airport transfers were very nice, courteous, and timely. As for the hotel itself, a few complaints...there was an electrical failure during the night, so the alarm clocks went back to blinking and not working past the time of the electrical failure. That meant that the alarms did not go off to wake me at 3:30am. Fortunately I'd set my cell phone alarm. When I mentioned the problem to the front desk clerk she said something like "oh, we never thought of that." I guess they will now!! The evening before I asked the front desk for a recommendation for a local restaurant and was referred to an Italian restaurant across the street. If you know and like Italian food, then you will be very disappointed. The best thing was the sparkling water. Nothing complimentary can be said about the rest of the meal.

this is and always has been a great hotel, been staying here very often when I fly into SFO.. its a few years old now, but in good condition. The breakfast is GREAT!....

some plus points.. it is walking distance to the BART. it is ONE stop from SFO, its cheaper than the city hotels, and just a short ride into the city from the bart, you can save a fortune by staying here. its in an okay area, great restos nearby,, everything from a famous chinese place to a first class diner near the bart station.

The staff have always been very friendly. I have also stayed here when not working, and enjoyed it very much.

We flew into San Francisco from the midwest late on a Thursday night before spending a long weekend in Sonoma. We wanted to stay close by before driving up the next morning. (We also ended up staying here the night before we flew back). The inn was 1 exit to the south of the airport so very convenient for us tired travelers. We did discover an Irish Pub across the street so we could watch sports and the food was surprisingly good! But back to the hotel. There were 2 rooms, a front "living room" area and the bed room in the back. The bed was clean and the mattress was firm. In fact, it was quite comfortable. The bathroom was not big but not small either. The towels were a bit on the thin side. The only problem was the air traffic noise which was easily drowned out by turning the fan on the heating/cooling unit. They had a small continental breakfast in the morning.
All in all, it was a convenient, clean, comfortable place to stay for not a lot of money.

As a Marriott Rewards member I am always looking at Marriott properties that may be available in the locales I visit. On a recent trip to San Francisco the entire city was pretty well sold out due to an Oracle convention. The only rooms available in the city proper were severely overpriced. We ended staying here which was only a couple of miles from the airport.

The room was clean and quite comfortable. The room was in the suite style with a bedroom,bath and living area with a desk. It was supplied with 2 flat screen TV's, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. There was a simple daily breakfast supplied with Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, cereal, bagels, coffee, and juice. There is a daily parking fee of 6.95 a day.

Because of the hotel situation in San Francisco we had to choose this outlying locale that proved to be quite inconvenient due to a 20-30 min drive into the cities main attractions. While this is no fault of the property, I just want to mention that if I returned to the Bay area I would try to not choose this particular property because of the drive time...it got old real quick. We spent six days here and used it primarily as a sleep destination only as we came to see the sites and visit wine country. We chose this hotel because of the excellent price and availability.

The hotel is in Millbrae by the airport, next to a Taco Bell and our view out the window was of the backyards of a neighboorhood. Although others mentioned difficulties with parking, we did not. Often got back late at night and there was always a spot in the garage.

3 Stars here means a clean basic room, nothing memorable on location, and nothing special on the amenities front...but hey, this is a Fairfield Inn and we recieved exactly what we expected. I WOULD return for a short overnight stay needing to be close to the airport but NOT for a sightseeing tour of the Bay area and Napa.
