While strolling through town, we noticed the MacCallum House Inn & Restaurant. It had such curb appeal, we needed to know more. The menu was so tempting that we made a reservation for that evening. Please note that reservations are accepted for the dining room only, not the Bistro, which is for walk-ins. It was the Bistro menu we wanted, so we were able to be seated in that section when we arrived. We shared all of the menu items we ordered: clam chowder with numerous tiny clams in their shells, caprese salad with house-made mozzarella, carpaccio with unique pastrami seasoning, and fabulous fried chicken with mashed potatoes and sherry cream gravy. Each was plenty for sharing.
