Excellent place to stay in this charming little town. Easy access for exploring a beautiful area and Yosemite without paying national park hotel fees. Very comfortable with everything you need and the town mail street is just a short walk with great places to eat and shop.

We chose the hotel simply based on proximity to Yosemite since we only had 1 day to drive through the park.

The front desk was friendly and hard working. Check in was a little slow because of their process, but the folks who work there are local and take pride in doing a good job. We were treated well.

The room was updated and a touch on the small side. Not having an elevator wasn't great, but we survived getting the luggage up and down.

Bottom line--if you are looking for a clean, friendly, non-luxurious place to stay roughly 30 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite this is a good value. The drive from the hotel into Yosemite is beautiful.

Room Tip: Lower floors are better since you'll be carrying your luggage up the stairs.

The Best Western Plus Yosemite Way Station Motel is not the newest or closest motel to the national park but its reasonable prices, cleanliness, and great staff make it an exceptional value. We had to room next to each other and only a block from Savory's a great restaurant in town. The ride to Yosemite is about 39 minutes or so by car but again compared to closer hotels, or inns it was a great value. The free breakfast (which we did not use much) was continental and although we did not eat there we did get some great coffee and juice for the ride, The staff was great and very helpful as to places to have dinner and traveling instructions.

Reasonably good..convenient location, friendly stuff. We enjoyed the stay! Stayed here for 3 nights with family including kids. This is in a small town but the location is a plus. Would definitely recommend to visitors.

Stayed here for a weekend trip to Yosemite. Location is great. Took us about 30-35 min to get to the actual park attractions, but the drive over there is beautiful.

Staff is friendly. Considering probably 99% of their guests are there to visit Yosemite, I was surprised about the lack of knowledge of the park and its current state, by the late night front desk agent who checked us in. The lady in the morning was much better.

Room was clean and spacious. AC was pretty loud so we only ran it on occasions. There was no blow dryer in the room.

The bed was extremely hard. I am in my mid twenties and in good shape, but I woke up both mornings being sore all over my body. So I recommend sleeping on your back if you can.....all night. Once you turn to the side, its over.

Breakfast was good. However, the eggs was definately something odd. They looked like small, skinny pancakes and tasted like a mass produced canned product. Dont know how else to put it, sorry. By the way, the breakfast lady did a good job. She was running around filling up stuff everywhere and seemed to work hard.

All in all, a good stay for a motel.

Motel style, nice big room, very comfortable bed, large bathroom area. Fridge. Lovely helpful check in staff.
Room very dark though, painted dark brown, with dark brown furniture, and really needs an update. Hot water was only warm, this was ok as it was very hot weather but could be an issue. Free but terrible quality wifi, really only suitable for a few text emails, couldn't cope with downloading my UK newspaper on either of our two days stay, the only hotel or B and B in three weeks in California that couldn't download my paper!
Definitely not the usual "Plus" standard, but comfortable enough for an overnight stop and easy access to Yosemite.

The hotel is located about an hour from Yosemite National Park (West entrance) and it's a great place to stay the night if you're visiting Yosemite NP.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, but the a/c is noisy. There is a pool and free parking and breakfast.
