Needed to come down from San Francisco for an exam and wanted to stay far enough form the venue that I could unwind afterwards.
. I arrived at night and was checked in quickly. Complimentary fruit basket and cookies!!
Also happy to find a fruit basket wating for me on arrival (Maybe they thought I was a hotel inspector?). Maybe that priority pass finally helped.
The room was fair spaced with excellent amenities;ironing board, empty fridge, complimentary coffee/tea and a microwave. Nice linen quality and comfortable bed.
While it doesn't look incredible the hotel has some great little unseen touches. First and foremost for a bargain hunter like me; free parking! With some of the hotel charging $20 a night in the area ( including this hotels sister) that already starts the savings clicking.
A small pool and jacuzzi upstairs, only used by the Brits staying in the hotel.
A laundromat which helps if you've got little vomiting children is great and there is a laundry directly across the road.
And for the ultimate freebie? BREAKFAST INCLUDED! Always welcome. Pretty generic one but fair quality.
They also rent bikes which are a must to drive up and down the boardwalk which is about a mile away. The price is about the same as all the other places with the plus of free parking.
Their best point was the staff. Friendly and really helpful. In a moron move, I left SF without any of my toiletries. None. And they had them all, complimentary, down to a roll on.
Lot of restaurants, takeaways within a mile of the hotel.
Caveats? Loud Aircon.
Great stay, well recomended.
