This property has certainly earned its ranking as #1 in Marina Del Rey, in my opinion.

My husband and I recently stayed here with our toddler twins and were extremely satisfied. The location was very convenient and the price simply cannot be beat. For the price of a regular room at most other places, we were able to secure a suite that truly did provide a completely separate sleeping area for our boys. That alone was worth many points in my book. Add to it the fact that the room was spottless and that the free breakfast included in our room price was truly a full breakfast (eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, cereals, assorted breads, juices, milk, etc..) and I was really over joyed.

Upon check-in, I reminded the front desk clerk that we had requested two cribs for our room and they were delivered before we had even started to unpack!

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I was so satisfied with a hotel visit. If you are looking for a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay in Marina Del Rey, this is certainly the place for you. Enjoy!

We stayed here for three nights waiting for my sons apartment to be cleaned. The rooms were not only very clean but huge. We were able to store boxes of his stuff and still get around the room comfortably. Great staff breakfast included. Room faced the street was a little noisy without the air on but it died down by bedtime. Nice walk to the beach, nice neighborhood behind for a walk.The best deal in the area. Would recommend staying here over anywhere else.

Haven’t used a Holiday Inn Express before and didn’t have very high expectations; booked it because price seemed reasonable, included breakfast, could get a suite for price of standard room elsewhere and they had some smoking rooms. I spent two nights there and it turned out to be a fine little hotel, with friendly and helpful front desk staff. My suite had separate living room and bedroom and good quality amenities (toiletries, bed linen, towels, bathrobe and so on) and I was glad it didn’t face onto the street (would’ve been noisy). Wifi internet access was free, as were local phone calls. Having a fridge (not minibar) and microwave oven made use of nearby take-away places a good option for supper. Breakfast involved plastic/polystyrene cutlery, cups, glasses and plates but reasonable choice of food (both hot and cold), only the standard of the coffee let it down (but then I never find coffee strong enough in US). A bit further from Venice Beach, the marina and some of the recommended local restaurants than it looked from the map but get your walking sandals on and it isn’t a problem. Can’t bring myself to give it 5 stars as it doesn’t have any “wow factor” but if I find myself in that area in future I’d definitely use the hotel again.

This was our first time to the Holiday Inn,purely through reading the reviews we decided to give it a go and were not dissapointed.The hotel is in a great location for Venice and Santa Monica,bit of a long drive into Hollywood etc but we bought a street map which gave us a bit of a shortcut.The hotel itself was wonderful,the room is probably one of the best i have seen and is kept so clean.The bathroom was a little on the small side but again kept clean.Found the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful and the breakfast area very nice too with a good selection.My only small negative comment would be the pool which was the only thing that wasn't particulary clean and did put us of using it,just seemed to be full of leaves and debris.Other than that i cannot fault this place and would definately go back on our next trip to the area.
