We spent 3 nights here for our trip to see the LA Philarmonic and do a bit of sight-seeing around town. We were very happy with everything. Our room was a nice queen suite with two TV's. Our room was on the inside of the building and not facing the street so it was very quiet. The hotel is clean and has a nice vibe. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is good - hot breakfast with yogurt/cereal options too. We really enjoyed the C & O Tratoria just down the street (Killer Garlic Rolls indeed!). We will stay here when we come back to LA!
Great place to stay.

This smaller hotel offered nice rooms about a mile from Venice pier. Our room was a queen bed suite with the bedroom separated from the main room, which offered a pull out double sofa bed. The main room also had a mini fridge and sink area. Each room had its own large flat panel tv. This configuration was great for our family allowing privacy and a separate place to let the kids sleep without turning out the lights or tv. The provided breakfast off the lobby had a good selection with nice places to sit there or poolside. We did not have a chance to utilize the pool, which was small but looked inviting. Hallways were an interesting mix of indoor/ outdoor but everything seemed secure. Free parking was covered and a bit right but we had no problems with getting a space. It was a pleasant walk to Venice Pier (about a mile) with quite a few restaurants/ coffee shops on the way. By car it was close to major roads and more dining/ shopping options. The staff were very pleasant and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would return again if in the area.

I needed a hotel in this area for one night. This was a very satisfactory stay. The room had up-to-date decor and was clean. The front desk staff were helpful with driving directions and local resturants. Parking very adequate and free. The hot/cold buffet breakfast was not fancy but very adequate before my long drive. A lovely outdoor lounge area.

Our stay here was very good for two nights after visiting Disneyland for two nights. We wanted to spend time at Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier and both are very close to this location. I felt it was in a safe neighborhood and has a small hotel feel. Indoor parking is just steps from the front desk and then up the elevator you go to your room. Our room was very nice and clean. The hotel has been redone in the last few years and upgraded from what used to be a Best Western. Also, they have some very nice and updated outdoor space with the pool and a fireplace with nice seating.
