The hotel rooms are spacious and updated. Free garage parking. Breakfast buffet was adequate for you to start your day. Good value for the area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Midafternoon cookies were wonderful as was the flavored water available throughout the day.

This smallish boutique hotel was great value for money, comfortable and conveniently located close to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. The rooms and decor were modern, very clean and inviting with 2 flat-panel televisions and a small kitchenette area. Parking was ample and free and there is a small pool and jacuzzi area as well as a fire pit to relax by. The staff were super friendly and the continental breakfast was ample-with waffles, scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal and sausages all a cut above the usual coffee and donut fare.

Stayed here on business for a night.

This is a motel with some boutique style modern furniture in the lobby and decent toiletries in the bathrooms. The rooms are basically cheap pine furniture in classic motel style, although everything is relatively new and quite clean. The walls are like paper - I was kept up all night by someone talking on the phone next door to me. The building itself is quite old and has really poor insulation so I had to keep the heater on all night (very loud and intermittent at best). Internet kept turning off so I had to keep reregistering. Breakfast was free and plentiful if not the best quality food - I've had nicer at the Hampton Inn. The breakfast room also has terrible heat/cooling problems. It was like an oven in there even when the outside temperature was only in the mid-50s. Staff are super nice and competent so do hope that the owners choose to invest in more than cosmetic upgrades and turn this into a true boutique. Location is very good. They should look at the Joie de Vivre chain and the Kimpton chain for ideas. Those boutiques are my go-to choices when travelling.
