We stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn in Marina Del Rey. The staff was terrific, giving us a map and tips where to wander. The rooms were spotless and the beds comfy. We walked to Venice Beach, there's a Starbucks on the way where we picked up coffee and a muffin to have on the beach. The walking path between the beach and the restaurants is great to wander and check out. We went to see Motley Crue at the Hollywood Bowl and this was a perfect spot to go in, see the concert and head out to be by the water. It's also not too far from Santa Monica and the Pier as well as the 3rd Street Promenade.
