My husband and I obtained a room block at this hotel for our wedding. First they gave us a rate that was more than their listed internet rate. Once that was straightened out, we continued to have problems. They kept pulling people out of our room block and giving them other, more expensive, rates. Works our great for them if the people are at the hotel and not in the block because then the bride and groom have to pay for the 'empty' rooms they didn't fill.
They failed to give out the gift bags which had the itinerary in them (important things like when the shuttle busses would be there to pick them up and where the rehearsal dinner was), they gave away our suite the night before the wedding (despite my husband calling and telling them when he would be there -- we had to go pick guests up at the last minute since none of them knew when the other pick ups were happening -- lack of itinerary), they failed to provide the champagne the night of the wedding like they promised.
The paperwork for our brunch was not left at the front desk, as our event person promised,...no one knew about the brunch at the front desk ( a little scary). The next day, most people were charged an incorrect rate that was different from our room block.
We also had a few guests who were staying a bit longer and the hotel shut off all the power...without telling them in advance.
Like many things in Los Angeles, the hotel looks good from the outside, but has no substance. I would encourage you to look elsewhere for a hotel.
