Recently stayed here and had a most enjoyable stay. The views are pleasant, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the staff very helpful. As I booked it through Priceline, got a great rate, so that helped as well. The talk about the elevators, however, is true and they can be slow. The week after I stayed here, I saw the hotel used as the location for an episode of the HBO series "Entourage," which was kind of fun.

I paid over three hundred dollars for one night in this hotel and was then charged seventeen dollars for parking too! I think that's expensive, because the hotel is pretty unremarkable compared to other Marriotts and, while the location is nice, that's about the best you can say about it. It's about four miles from LAX, which is why we chose it for the last night of our holiday. They have a small pool and spa outside for guests, but it's very noisy being right next to the road. Another irritation was that there was only one out of three elevators working. The beds are great though, extremely comfortable, and our room was clean and well-equipped - but again, that's what you'd expect from this type of chain. I think it's pricey as they seem to have a lot of long-haul aircrew staying and my recommendation would fall in line with that: get your company to pay for it!

Enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Marriott during a two week break in the USA. a greharat location, for Beverley Hills, Hollywood, Universal etc. The hotel staff were excellent, met all our requirements and more. And wow what a bonus you walk across the road to the Cheesecake Factory. The meals in
that restaurant were incredible.

I stayed on a Marriott associate rate, so can't comment much on the value. The hotel is very nice, courteous staff, big bathrooms, nice view and the location is convenient to LAX and the beaches. We'll be back in August for King Tut.
