On a recent trip to LA, we were pleased to see one of our favorite bagel places, Noah's Bagels, nearby, so we made a trip over to pick up some bagels.
I don't know what the problem is with this particular Noah's. Usually service is friendly, efficient and prompt. Not so at this location. It was not busy, and there were four people working, but we had difficultly getting someone to take our order. Usually, you stand in front of the bagel case, and someone asks you what you want.
Not here. We had to finally walk over to the register to ask someone to help us. Although we had a very simple order, the employee had a very negative attitude and acted as if she was doing us a favor to help, and we had to repeat our order many times, though it was not noisy.
The bagels, once we finally got them were great, but the coffee was undrinkable. This place desperately needs an adult manager on site to get the employee's act together and teach them some customer service skills. I think the only reason it stays in business is that there must be many tourists who frequent the place, because if I was a local, I'd never go back.
Bagels good, employees bad.
