I was in Marina for the day and stumbled upon Wild Thyme when looking for lunch. They've got a good selection of "suggested" sandwiches, but you can also "build your own" from the huge list of options (meats, cheeses, breads, spreads, and toppings). If you're expecting $5 footlongs, then look elsewhere. But for $7-$8, you get the quality you pay for. I had them make a tuna melt with cheddar cheese and red oinon on a ciabatta roll. it was packed with tuna! Although I ogled several tempting side dishes in their display case, I opted to forgoe it since the sandwich was already pretty sizable. Came with a quarter of dilled green tomato (good!) They also have a fridge case full of "vintage" sodas so I picked myself out a Cheerwine to go with the tuna melt. They had a vegetarian lasagna, gourmet mac n cheese, some pot pies, latkes, and salmon that also looked great, too. If I'm ever back in Marina, I'll stop at Wild Thyme again. You should, too.
(Wild Thyme also supports various animal organizations & charities!)
