“Good location, food disappoints”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

Great location, especially in good weather. I expected better for the price they are charging. More common dishes that my friends ordered looked better.

“Great food with an awesome view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

As an LA local, I find any excuse to go to Malibu, soak up the sun and breath fresh air (because it's rare, you know). Was so excited to find this newly opened restaurant is now serving brunch, lunch and dinner. And the cocktails, don't get me started - amazing! Loved the bloody mary (with all the fixins you can imagine) and the Aviation. Highly recommend making the trip to the pier and stopping at this beautiful restaurant. Planning my next visit now :)

“A Fathers Day disappointment”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Baaaad experience with our family on Fathers Day. They didn't honor the reservation I made a month ago and had reconfirmed that morning, said inside tables were taken, sat us outside where it was windy (they gave others blankets) where the service set a new low. We ordered drinks then were told their blender was broken and the new order screwed up. Then delivered food (forgettable) multiple courses at the same time. Waitress didn't seem to know what she was doing - or care.

We had gone last month when it first opened and it was good, but Sunday was AWFUL

“Small portions at high prices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

Nice location, good service, nice to be on the ocean and hear the waves crashing but.....very small portions especially for the prices. Our first appetizer which I split with my husband was a sea bass ceviche. It came on a very large plate with maybe four forkfuls of food, no crackers or chips to put it on. Next came crab cakes, three medium size at $22 and very tasty. Our seafood salad was next and extremely small. We were with another couple who ordered an entree of cod. The cod was very good but again it was a small portion on a large plate and nothing else on the plate. While the service and location was good the portions were too small for us to come back here again. We ended up going home to eat some almonds and fruit just to get full.
