“Very nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

We stopped by here for lunch on our way up the PCH. What a great little spot. The food was good, the service could have been better, but we ate outside just feet from the Pacific Ocean. It's a big filming spot because it is so secluded. We will remember it forever that's for sure. Anyone old enough to remember the Rockford Files with James Garner will remember it as his home. If the service had been a little quicker we would have rated it 5 Star for sure.

“amazing food with amazing surroundings!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

Had a wonderful lunch here ON THE SAND! So beautiful. It was fall, and cooler out, but the heaters outside made for a very comfortable day. The waitress was very kind and accomodating. Our drinks and meals were delicious and the portions good sized. Good cup of coffee too! Can't beat the scenery..you are literally on the shore line. Parking was free as we validated our parking ticket after lunch. We should have hung out a while longer to catch the sunset..which we pulled over up the road about 10 mins. later to photograph. Lots of history/photos on the walls to read..which we had taken the time to look at more...quite interesting and the date/time we went was rather quiet and slow so it was really really nice.

“Great for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

Went for lunch and really enjoyed it. Portions are big and the service was excellent. You have to pay for parking if you don't spend $30, but it is easy to spend.
Good coffee also.

“Coulda, Shouda, Woulda”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

After a day at Getty Villa, we stopped at Paradise Cove hoping to catch the sunset but our wait was over an hour and we missed it. I wish they had advised us as we would not have waited. When we inquired, they said it would be "just a few more minutes". It wasn't, but we were there and were pooped and we were already sipping our cocktails and parking is $35 if you are not a dinner patron. When we were finally seated, it was then quite cold outside and we were placed at a table in the sand with heaters and that was fine with us but we waited for another half hour for our waiter to even come to our table and acknowledge us. Their big bucket of overdone and now soggy fish and chips arrived after another half hour or so. Wish we would have each ordered one of their drinks served in their humongous martini glasses instead. We could have been put out of our misery.

“Nice location, very touristy.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

A friend mentioned this restaurant when I told her I would be venturing to Malibu. A most do she said.
The drinks were good. The food okay, be careful... the portions are huge. Parking can be a problem, but if you dine at restaurant, validate your ticket for discount. We were able to eat and walk the beach. We had a good time, service was good. It was a first for us to sit in the sand.
