I asked for a glass of the house red wine and was charged $9 for a less than half full glass of wine. I had ordered it at the bar directly from the bartender whom I had just given a $1 tip to for a glass of water for my wife. I gave the bartender $10 and did and told him to keep the change-he did not even say thanks. We were the only people at the bar at the time and it was close to closing and there was no tv or music going on and I know he heard me say thank you to him-I'm always polite and thought, well, he does not set the price of a glass of wine, but to not get a "your welcome, or a thank you" back ticked me off! From this experience I should have been forewarned of the prices on the menu the next day when we went back. Luckily from the previous night's experience we checked out the menu prices and decided against eating there.
Rude bartender, no thank you and from me and my family to eat there?
NO THANKS! We'll eat at Cool Hand Lukes where at least the bartenders' are friendly and the prices are much more fair.
