I really get mad at people who make claims about "authenticity." So, this isn't going to be the thai food you had in Phuket, or whatever. And it's probably not the same as the hole in the wall in San Francisco you know about. Don't get hung up on that. Just enjoy. Noi herself is in there cooking on her wok quite often. They use fresh local (sorry, we're thousands of miles from Thailand) ingredients, they don't skimp on the meat, and it's just GOOD. I take everyone here who comes in from out of town.
But this isn't McDonalds. They aren't open all the time and the best thing on the menu is usually the curry of the day. Sometimes, they just close up for vacation. It takes them a while to make food when there's a lot of people... because they are making it fresh there.
