“Worthy of a Quick Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

This is a nice place for a short walk. Nice environment, but no spectacular scenery. You are right on the edge of Morro Bay, so you have the riparian environment in your view on the short trail. I have been here twice, once last August and the second time last month. I wouldn't be making a special effort to come back now that I have seen it.

“very disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Came here to see the turtles and frogs.. all we saw was pollution from the bay and birds. The grounds are needing alot of care, We did meet some people who were walking their dog thru the area and they suggested a park down the road.. called Montana de oro state park. It was beautiful there.. dont waste your time here.

“Pretty hard to find”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

We had trouble finding it and then found it wasn't worth too much effort. I'm sure a natural spring is interesting but not worth extraordinary effort.

“Hidden beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

Lots of benches to sit on while watching the many birds that feed among the reeds in and around the bay. There are many eucalyptus trees. It is a peaceful nice place.

“In the middle of Los Osos at the Bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

Quiet, simple, small preserve which has been lovingly maintained by local preservation groups. The preserve borders the bay and has been returned to its natural state. Small and easy walking path. Nice view.
