Although there is a lot of traffic along Winchester, the narrow, shaded patio in front of the restaurant was an ideal place to enjoy dinner. The tables are spaced well enough apart to engage in private conversation. The service was ideal. Two of our three waiters spoke with Italian accents, which provided an air of authenticity to our experience, especially after recently touring Italy. We Scalloppine alla Les--sauteed veal in a light brandy cream sauce with green and pink peppercorns and Scaloppine al Limone--veal sauteed with white wine and lemon. Both were prepared perfectly. For dessert, we shared Cannoli--shells filled with creamy ricotta cheese and chocolate chips, sprinkled with powdered sugar. Delightful experience.
