This hotel was a great find, Great location (right in the heart of hollywood/hollywood and highland) and staff very friendly. All points of interest very accessible from the info given at front desk, and transporatation only steps away. The room was a generous size, with plenty of room to move. Room included a king bed, fridge and a sofa bed...free internet access...a little slow, but free....breakfast was simple,...overall a great stay and i would consider choosing this hotel again.

Really friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the local area. The guys helped us plan the next legs of our journey, giving us loads of their own ideas.

Yea, rooms are a bit basic and have maybe seen their best, but in terms of value for money - out of this world.

The included breakfast is also a nice personal touch.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and would definitely recommend it. We looked at a number of 4/5 star hotels but they were at least double the price of this one.

Reception: Friendly and very informative
Room: Spotless but a little dated. There was a kitchette in the room if you require one.
Location: Perfect to see hollywood and surrounding sites. We took one of the bus tours which departed 5 minutes walk away from the hotel.

Secure Parking was free which was a plus as parking in other hotels that we looked at was approx 30 dollars per day.

Breakfast was a bonus also and there was always a good selection of bread/coffee/cereals.

There was free internet access in the room and there is also an internet PC beside the reception desk.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. From a value for money perspective it was excellent.

We viewed all of the sights around Hollywood and LA and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. There is a back entrance from the end of Orchid Ave that leads to the mall area, so it is a quick walk to Hollywood Blvd. Yes, the hotel is a little outdated and doesn't have an elevator, but the rooms are very clean and the staff is always there to help. We had a little street noise from Franklin Dr, but we slept through it easily. The free wifi only reaches to the lobby and patio area, so don't expect it in your room. The staff knows the area, metro routes, and anything else you need really well and are always willing to please. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again if I were to ever again.
