We stayed at Magic Castle hotel in a 2 bed suite overlooking the pool for 4 nights. All the staff were super friendly, helpful and informative. The pool was great at 11pm at night after a hard day of sightseeing and the rooms spacious and clean. Great beds and toiletries. Just all round great!!

Our family of four stayed at the Magic Castle Hotel for two nights after a long flight from Sydney. The staff were extremely helpful in booking us a Hollywood tour at short notice and accomodated our every need throughout our stay. The room (a one bedroom unit) we stayed in was bright and clean, just next to the pool. The breakfast was plentiful and it was nice to be able to take your choices back to your room. The location of the hotel is great, we got the train easily to Universal studios (a great day). Be aware that Hollywood Bvld is pretty sleazy at night, and there are many homeless people living in the park across the road from the hotel.

The staff suggested Micalo's for dinner one night, a short walk from the hotel. This is a wonderful restaurant with singing waitors.

We booked this hotel due to the favourable reviews in Tripadvisor and were not disappointed.

The Magic Castle Hotel is fantastic. A bit dilapidated and our rooms had horrors like thorn curtains and windows facing a giant clima box and an even less attractive wall. HOWEVER it had a great and safe location right behind Hollywood Boulvard, the courtyard pool is heated which was a thrill as nights in LA are chilier now. The staff was so friendly warm and welcoming and did everything whatever we requested in a split second. The internet was complimentary so as the breakfast. They also have lovely spiced water and fruit in the hall for free. The Magic Castle show was awesome and it is itself worth the stay. Once we got over the state of the room we felt like home.

I thoroughly enjoyed the magic castle. The staff were so friendly. The accommodations are clean, a bit old. The location is prime for doing the typical tourist scene. When you enter the hotel there is a bowl of apples and cucumber water to quench your thirst. The continental breakfast was great, fresh croissants and scones every morning. I would definitely go back.
