What everyone has said is true! We stayed for a week. We've traveled all over the world and it really doesn't get much better than this. The Magic Castle is simply the best!

After a lovely welcome from the staff , we unpacked our swimming gear and went into the warm pool.It was nightime and the lights made it seem magical.
We put on our plush robes (provided) and settled down for the evening.

The following morning the staff helped us book and print our tickets for our front of line passes for Universal Studios which was a saving on the gate price.

Breakfast included fruit , cereal, and buns delivered by the local bakery which were delicious. This can be eaten in your room, or at the tables around the pool.

Whilst sunbathing the following morning, ice pops and cold lavender face cloths were brought to us, this was a very nice touch.

The rooms are very comfortable; we had two queen beds, dining table , kitchen, and dvd player .( dvd's can be chosen from a list at reception)..chocolates are provided at bedtime.

The staff are the most helpful we have come across and we cannot praise the hotel enough.

I thank all other trip advisors for helping us choose this hotel. As it was our first trip to the USA we valued your comments.

I recently spent 5 days at the Magic Castle Hotel with my daughter. I don't remember ever having such wonderful service. The staff is perfect, willing to help with anything, always so pleasant! They go above and beyond to please you. All were great, but Shawn sticks out in my mind as outstanding. It is a good location and felt like I was in my own home. Great for families. Also liked the continental breakfast in the A.M.

I hope this adds some unique perspective to the prior reviews, but it's hard not to heap the same praises on this charming hotel. We selected the Magic Castle after reading the great reviews here and stayed for 5 nights. The location is terrific if you're planning on visiting in the "greater LA" area. We visited attractions such as the Getty Museum, Burbank (Warner Brothers), downtown LA, West Hollywood and Beverly HIlls and found this an excellent location .
The staff was terrific - they bent over backward to be helpful and providing outstanding suggestions and help. We went to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl and Gretchen suggested a local market to purchase some gourmet picnic items which made our evening perfect! Maps, directions, suggestions were all very useful (I even called from the car at one point in downtown LA and was given directions and a great suggestion for lunch on Olvera Street (again, thanks, Gretchen!).
We had a 1 bedroom suite and found it very comfortable (although the walls are rather thin).. The continental breakfast was great to have as it allowed us an easy pace in the morning to sit on our balcony, enjoy a light breakfast, read the complimentary paper and plan the day.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Magic Castle. Location, staff, pleasant accomodations, spacious, nice extras, gated parking, etc., etc. My only suggestion might be to add a little bit of variety to the breakfast items (since you probably can't do much about the sound).
