A gem of a hotel! Quiet Beverly Hills neighbourhood with amenities across the street (grocery, drugstore, Starbucks etc.)Quaint European styling with balconies in every room. Courteous staff well appointed with a great restaurant to boot. The Thai calamari is to die for.Got a great deal through Expedia. Only minor negative might be the compulsory valet parking at $19.00 plus tip everytime you come or go.Would definitely stay again.

Loews was in a very nice and quiet nieghborhood. The staff was friendly and very attentive (especialy the valet parking staff). However, it wasn't quite what I expected. The room was cute with a nice view, but small and a little shabby. The wall paper was bubbled up and the furniture is in a serious need of an update. Everything just looked very worn and old. The bathroom was large, but there was no tub, just a shower with a hand held shower head (which was not comfortable for my 6'2" boyfriend). The bathroom was very clean though, and the Temperpedic mattress was quite comfy. My biggest complaint is the fact that there were numerous false charges to our account. First we were charged for an extra night, despite the fact we pre-paid and had not even checked out yet! After that charge was ajusted, we then found false dinning charges from the restaraunt downstairs which we never even ate in! An ok hotel, but not really worth the price. Triple check your bill if you stay here!

The lowes is a nice hotel, the staff was freindly and helpful. Gave us good directions to the NBC studios even though we went through residential neighborhoods, which were very nice. Location is great and away from the crowded areas. It's worth the extra money to stay on the top 3 levels. Ask for the continental b'fast free cards if you stay on these floors. Great views, minus the smog. Rooms and balconies are nice, better than expected, but nothing too exceptional. Maid service was great, very clean. And the "foam" beds were actually very comfortable. All in all not a bad place and would most likely consider it again.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Room was spacious & very comfortable with large wrap round balony. Good location, short walk to Rodeo Drive, across the street from Ralphs, Longs, Starbucks, Sushi restuarant. A couple good restaurants nearby on Pico Blvd. Close to Museum of Tolerance. Easy drive to Getty Centre. Note: Valet parking is required but no big deal - they make it easy. Bedding was a little worn. I did note that the carpetting was stained and heavily solied in some areas of the hotel and needs thorough cleaning or replacement. Elevators slow. I would stay here again.
