Hotel was easy to find. Staff was friendly and room was clean. The nicely furnished kitchen was convenient to have, and the flat panel was enjoyed. The only part about the room that felt cramped was near the TV and the queen bed. Aside from that, the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Ralph's is just around the corner in case you want to pick anything up at the store.

Just returned from a three night stay over the April 20th weekend. I booked thru the Marriott website and had a one bedroom suite. (all the rooms are suites with full kitchen, some studio one open room suite, some one bedrooms and some two bedroom/ two bath suites.) I got a AAA rate, but I shopped the other hotels in the area and this was a very good value.

The location while not in the middle of Beverly Hills, is very convenient to alot of shopping. restaurants, sights, and the beaches. Parking was easy at the hotel for $20.00 valet per night and the valet staff was great and very friendly.

The Front Desk and Bellmen staff at this hotel rock! I travel quite often for work and stay at some great 4-5 star hotels, and this staff can more than hold their own in comparison. They are very knowledgeable and give great restaurant and sight seeing recommendations. No question is too hard for them and they are extremely FRIENDLY AND WARM!!

The suite was very nice and clean and well maintained. (We met the General Manager in the Lobby after we checked in while he was personally picking up an empty coffee cup and straightening out the lobby furniture. The rest of the staff must follow his lead becasue the hotel looked so tidy all of the time) The full kitchen is great and they give you china, plates, tuberware, pots and pans, etc.. so we cooked a nice dinner for oursleves on our last evening and watched a movie on the big flat panel LG TV in the living room. The furnishings are newer and the colors (greens, golds) are very warm and soothing. The bed was extremely comfortable with extra of pillows and high thread count sheets. We asked for a high floor with good view and got one on the 6th floor facing downtown LA and the view was very good. Room was quiet and the housekeeping staff was very accomodating and left us extra coffee and cream as we requested.

The hotel does not have a pool. (We were told that it was bult as hospital and converted to a hotel) But there is a huge jacuzzi on Levle C along with a small but fucntional fitness room with four pieces of newer Life Fitness cardio with your own TV on each cardio piece.

Breakfast was very good each morning, and it is free and it is a full breakfast with eggs, waffles, sausage, yogurt, fruit, cereals, etc.. The breakfast room gets crowded but they opened up a small meeting room across the lobby set with tables that gave larger groups/families more room to eat.

If you bring your laptop, they both have wired and wireless internet from your room for free and their are also two computers in the lobby for a small fee that you can check e mail and print bording passes or documents.

We really liked this hotel and we will be back again at the end of the summer while attending a wedding in the area. I strongly recommend this place!!

We stayed at this hotel Easter weekend, 2007. We flew to LA to visit our daughter, who lives about 5-7 minutes drive from the hotel. We rented a car and drove La Cienega to Pico and were at the hotel in no time. I don't like the LA freeways, and will avoid them if possible.

The staff is very welcoming, starting with the valet and the reception. Everyone couldn't be nicer and seemed genuinely pleased to have your business.

We were given our keys and headed to our room. When we walked into the large room, we noticed the intake for the air conditioner, was located right by the head of the bed, it was very noisy and no one could sleep near that! So we asked for another room. A bellman came up to the room with new keys to show us another room, it was larger, but there was only one side of the bed you could enter on, if you want to get up, you have to crawl over your sleeping partner. Not acceptable, so we asked to see another room. Finally, we were given a larger room where both people could get into bed from their own side of the bed. Actually, the second room we had would have been fine for a single person. We are used to king beds, so the queens in this hotel seemed small to us.

The room had a nice kitchen and sitting area with a new comfortable couch we sat on to watch the large flat screen TV. The free high speed internet is also very nice.

The breakfast room was very crowded and noisy, many families, lots of kids. Our favorite breakfast item was the waffles with strawberry sauce. This is a good breakfast, lots to choose from, but the loud kids and stuffy feel of the room made us want to hurry up, eat and not linger over a cup of coffee.

Both my husband and I travel and stay in hotels over 50% of the year, on business and holiday. We have decided the next trip to LA we will stay elsewhere. Nothing really specific as to why, it's just a feeling we had while being there, the small beds mainly.

However, I feel this is a good place for families. You can crowd the family into the big room, you have a kitchen with microwave, so you don't have to go out to eat every meal. As well, perhaps a good place for a business person, free internet, bed only comfortable for one person, kitchen, free breakfast. It's just not for us.

Recently stayed for 4 nights at the Residence Inn - Beverly Hills, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I can vouch for what everyone else says: great location (though you do have to drive to nearly everything), fantastic staff (yes, the valets still welcome you back every time you drive back into the garage) and spacious rooms for the area.

We tried to get a 1BR suite but ended up with a Queen suite (a little smaller). It was spacious enough for 2 adults and a small child. The nicely furnished kitchen was convenient to have, and the flat panel was enjoyed by all. The only part about the room that felt cramped was near the TV and the queen bed. Aside from that, the room was very clean, quiet (we stayed in the Courtyard near here last year, and we heard every car that went by) and comfortable. Ralph's is just around the corner in case you want to pick anything up at the store.

We went down to the workout room, and there was a small selection of weight machines, a treadmill, elliptical machine and stationary bike. The elliptical machine was off-balance and made a dreadful noise every time you tried to use it. Other than that, the machines were in good shape.

When hotel shopping in this area, I noticed that we paid the same amount as several more boutique hotels (roughly $209/night). For the amount of space and location, it was worth it, but based on reading other reviews, I will definitely shop around next time.

We recently spent 2 nights at this hotel. The location was terrific. We were able to walk to Rodeo Drive and numerous stores. Our room was clean and well equipped. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The compimentary breakfast was great. The only problem that we encountered was that the first room we were given was on the first floor (room 103) next to a loud generator. We requested a new room and were moved to the third floor. This room was quiet and very comfortable. You might want to request a room on the third floor or higher when making your reservation.
