We stayed here six nights. The beds are very comfortable. I never had a problem with noise and they supply you with an eye mask, ear plugs and a sleep CD. The hot tub is great for a soak after a long day. No problem driving anywhere..went to Hollywood, Universal Studios, Disney World, etc. Has Starbucks, Krispy Kreme's, sandwhiches, sushi. Pool is nice but small, very nice warm water. Employees very friendly, close to car rental lots.

I quite liked this hotel as it is extremely convenient to the airport without the aircraft or traffic noise, and all the staff I encountered, whether at the reception desk, in the restaurant, room service and the like were friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and I really liked the relaxation/jet lag CD they provided. My only complaint was that reception staff would often give preference at check-in to airline staff, whilst ignoring other guests who were also waiting to check in. Otherwise, I cannot fault this fine hotel.

  • Liked — The staff, the restaurant and the relaxation CD
  • Disliked — Priority given to airline staff at check-in

Nice hotel, what I remember of it. Straight off the plane and to bed! Nice club floor room, complientary breafast in the club lounge. Decent price, quick transfers and close to the car hire places if you are collecting a car.

I will use this hotel again, good, clean, polite, you name it.

Yes this rating is a bit harsh. But with so many hotels in the LAX area why wouldn't a hotel that is part of a major chain try to do better for its guests? Because there are suckers like me who continue to book rooms despite other negative reviews. Not only did we stay there in April, we also just got back from another stay- so this is not a repeat review just a review of both stays. Two times- we really are stupid.

Anyway, on neither occasion did they honor the room type we booked and paid for. On one stay the room card was messed up repeatedly as noticed by other travelers. There were several problems with housekeeping. Ironically lipstick marks were part of all of those problems. Either take away cosmetics before guests check in or learn how to wash glasses and towels.

On both stays, there was no manager whatsoever who could speak with us. We never recieved a phone call as requested. In April I had taken the time to write a letter. I never even recieved a response. Now that's just rude. I'm writing a letter this time too, but doubt I will hear anything.

Feel free to contact me if you want my pros and cons on LAX airports. I stay a lot. So maybe you shouldn't contact me because I was stupid enough to stay here twice.

Booked this hotel on the web from Thailand so would have decent place to stay after 25 hours travel. I paid $159+ which came to $188. I saw poster that said if you can't rate us Very Satisfied to let us know. I went to share the comments and the GM, Mgr., and Asst Mgr all strangely unavail. or in "closed door meetings". I gave my notes to a very nice lady at the front and she promised I would receive a reply by email which NEVER happened. I wasn't going to miss the shuttle to LAX so I didn't hang around. Here's the scoop>>>I agree with the overall theme of most reviews in that there is a pitiful perceived value at the standard price which I paid. I didn't want to gamble with Priceline so I paid the full asking price. Not a good feeling knowing a lot of others claim to have paid way more than 1/2 off ($60) what I paid. The peace of mind full boat reservation isn't worth it!. The provision of ear plugs in the room was a bad omen. The roar of jet thrust was deafening and made sleep difficult. Zero soundproofing. The window curtain had a gap at the sill and flooded the room in sunlight requiring me to pile comforters and pillows to get the room dark. Furniture stained. Coffee maker dirty. I supervise 175 furniture stores so I know a worn out mattress when I try one. Deep body impression and hump in the middle was somewhat masked by luxury duvet spread. The bathroom sink was stopped up. Plaster on the bathroom ceiling was cracked. Come on guys, this is Cal.: the pool is micro, shallow, and terribly located for sun. Well worn carpeting. Staff and the buffet breakfast were fantastic. CP site had dead link and poor shuttle directions.Never again. Shameful.

  • Liked — location, staff, breakfast buffet, and LAX shuttle
  • Disliked — poor value, noise, microscopic pool, well worn accommodations, mgt. response
