I booked on Hotwire and paid $79 per night, I think. The rooms are a lot nicer than the lobby. Amenties are new(er) and there is a fridge and microwave. Flatscreen TVs, v. clean rooms. My only complaint is you can't open the windows.

The lobby was freezing at breakfast, but the breakfasts provide a lot of food and you can go back as often as you like. They should also add more seating because this was an issue.

The hotel is v. convenient to the freeway and 3 mins from the airport. The shuttle was fine. They refunded my calls because it was not explained to me that there is a charge to use your calling card. I didn't have to pay the $10 parking fee, either, because of this misinformation. I spoke up about it and so they conceded, which I thought was nice of them.

For $50 a night + taxes this was a GREAT deal. The hotel room is COMPACt, so great for one traveler. I usually like a larger room, but the comfort made up for it. The new furniture, free internet access, location, friendliness of staff, and the free breakfast makes it comparable to other hotels that are higher priced. For example, the week before I stayed in a terrace suite at the Westin (accross the street) and this hotel I found to have much better features. Their parking is also only $10 a day which makes it much more attractive also. I am staying there again later this month and would stay here again in the future! A+

We just needed a place to spend the night before an early morning flight home from visiting our son. This was a great deal for only $89. The newly renovated rooms are clean and bright. The breakfast was more than adequate. The shuttle ran on time and everyone was very helpful.
I wouldn't book this if I wanted to tour LA but it was a steal for just a good night's sleep.

the rooms are newly renovated (abiet cheaply, its like straight out of an ikea catalog) and was clean and the beds quite comfortable.

they include internet and full breakfast (as in meats and eggs as well) in the morning so the property provides good value.

as stated, the room was clean and newly renovated, nothing fancy at all, but great for for a stay before/after a flight or if you want to be close to santa monica but at a decent rate.

only concern was the elevators are slow (seems they only operated 1-2 of the available 3 elevators) and check in/out can be slow since they usually only have one person working the desk.

the common areas like the parking and front lobby is also kind of sketchy and i was a bit worried about the property until i reached my room.
