This is a fantastic place to stay for the price and is very kid friendly. The beds are very comfortable, the curtains black the sunlight completely out for those days you want to sleep in. The pool is heated and there are 4 hot tubs to soak in. Now of course you have to take the good with some bad, don't even think about getting a drink at the bar unless you are rolling in dough, the drinks are very expensive and don't let me get started on the $17.00 a night parking fee they charge. So I make sure when I leave I take all the crabtree and evelyn shampoo's and soaps. But all in all this place does make you feel comfortable and appreciated, a good feeling when your away from home. Highly recommended. One more thing, we stay here when we go to the beach, its about a 15 min drive to the Santa Monica Pier and Beach, but the money you save compared to staying closer and the quality of Hilton makes this place a bargain.

Stayed at LAX Hilton for 4 days in June. Have stayed there several times in the past few years. The staff is always professional and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and mostly clean.
They are however,showing their age/wear and could use new furnishings, carpet and wallpaper. The bathroom also had lots of cracked and chipped tiles.
Did not see any cockroachs in my room, but did see one in the hallway outside my room that was about 11/2 inches long. One of the other hotel guests in the room across the hall smashed it.

They do, like most other hotels nearby, charge for parking and internet use.
One of the things I do appreciate about the hotel is that the rooms, so close to the airport runway, are still fairly quiet.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton LAX hotel both going and coming from a two-week vacation in Hawaii and though there is nothing that makes one want to shout praises about the place, it is cefrtainly perfectly acceptable for a one-night stay. The beds were, in both cases, comfortable and restful. It was also nice to have several choices of tea to choose from in the morning and a free and convenient shuttle to the airport that leaves every 15 minutes all day and night through was certainly a "plus."

The cleaning staff was, the nights we were there, inconsistent. The first night, for instance, the bath had not been cleaned very well (there were a number of hairs in the tub) but the second night was far better with every thing neat and clean.

One of the most disappointing aspects of the Hilton LAX is the fact that though there is a so-called business center, even the use of the computers to access the Internet require an additional charge. In this day and time, such a failure to be traveler-friendly, is rather ridculous.

But would we stay again? Probably. The Hilton is convenient to the airport and though there are few restaurants other than a Carl's Jr. within walking distance, a one-night stand at a reasonable (for Los Angeles) rate make it at least a strong possibility.

Had a great stay. Next to airport and got a great deal on priceline. Clean and comfy.
