“Great stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

This Hilton made our stay wonderful. Be aware, you have to pay for parking. The breakfast buffet is worth the price. The staff is top notch. Corner room makes you feel like a king. Business center has a printer so boarding passes are no problem.

I spent 9 days at the Hilton and enjoyed some meals at their restaurant. Rosie H. was the most delightful and fun server ever! Go visit her; she makes you feel so
special. I had an entirely enjoyable experience; and the food was delicious as well.

Thank you for sharing your experiences during your nine day stay with us. I will make sure to share your comments on our food with our Chef. As someone behind the scenes, he does not always have a chance to interact with our clients.

I will do the same with Rosie...she is one of our best employes, and she really takes pride in taking care of our guests.

We hope to see you back at the Hilton soon.

Margie

Stayed for 2 weeks for work. Hotel is nice and hotel staff are welcoming. The parking is a bit of an inconvenience but there is a lot to do in the area and hotel has courtesy shuttle. Concierge lounge is nice and Rosie does a good job of making sure everyone is taken care of especially after a long day of work!

Thank you for staying with us for two weeks, we appreciate your business! The parking is a bit of a distance to the hotel entrance. We wish it were closer as well.

Rosie does a great job for us, so thank you for your comments. Very happy to hear that our staff took good care of you during your stay.

Hope we have the chance to host you again in the future.

Margie

The rooms are "dated" for lack of a better word. There are lots of little things that need to be repaired and some fresh paint would help. Do NOT let that stop you from staying her.

The staff more than makes up for the blemishes. In the concierge lounge you will find Rosie who is a hard working mom of three boys who will make you laugh and feel right at home. She will go out of her way to make your stay great. She is a gem to be sure. Then there are the wonderful ladies who staff the restaurant in the morning were very attentive and friendly. I do not recall all of their names but their smiles and service will be hard to forget.

The front desk staff was helpful and attentive.

The towels and sheets were of very good quality and the amenities in the bath we plentiful . I missed having a small refrigerator in the room but that is not uncommon in Hilton hotels. I brought a small ice chest and there was plenty of ice available.

We had a family reunion nearby and most of us stayed at the Hilton. We had dinner for 15 in the first flour lounge on a Saturday night and the food was very good and the service excellent. I would expect the same level of quality from room service.

A short walk to several local restaurants like the Cheese Cake Factory where the service was top notch for Sunday brunch.

If you need to stay in the Woodland Hills area, this is a great choice. There is even a mall a block away where you could find anything you need. This is a business friendly location.

The best staff that I have encountered in years.

Room Tip: We really liked being on the executive/concierge floors even though the concierge lobby was closed o...

So glad that you had a good stay with us. And I especially appreciate the feedback on Rosie and our restaurant staff. We are very proud of the associates that work here and it is always rewarding to hear that we are taking good care of our guests.

And there is exciting news regarding our rooms. We will be starting a complete renovation of the hotel within the next few months, including all of our guest rooms, lobby, restaurant and lounge.
I hope you will come visit us again to see our beautiful, new hotel!

Regards,
Margie

We had to move to a hotel for one week while we were having some renovations done in our house. The highlight of our stay was the Concierge Lounge. Rosie, the head of the Concierge Lounge, made me and my two daughters feel right at home. She always greeted us with a smile and was so nice to always ask us if there was anything that we needed. The food was great. Rose and the other staff at the hotel made our stay away from home feel like a mini vacation.

Glad you and the girls had a nice mini vacation with us here at the Hilton!

Hope your suitcases have wheels because it is a long walk from the (extra fee) parking structure into the elements before you get to the hotel. Rooms have a coffee pot but no refrigerator. For the high price you don't even get a continental breakfast of rolls and coffee.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts regarding the parking and your visit here at the Hilton. Unfortunately the parking structure is not close to the hotel, so there is a bit of walk for our guests.

While we do not have refrigerators currently in our guest rooms, I am happy to tell you that all of our rooms will be completely renovated in a few months. At that time all of the rooms will have built in refrigerators.

Regards,
Margie

I stayed here whilst doing work in Simi Valley. I made the mistake of booking through a third party site and therefore didn't get any hilton points (I'm not sure if this is a relatively new policy as I've booked with priceline and got hilton point credits before).

Anyway, the hotel is a short drive from the 101 Ventura freeway and is right across the road from an LA fitness (although it's one of those "preferred clubs" that I dont think ordinary members can get access to) as well as a starbucks, chipotle, a nice pizza place (make your own) and a jamba juice. There were also a few stores nearby.

The room was very nice, clean and functional. They have a gym which is also very good although, typical of hilton gyms, pretty small and capable of holding about 4 people even if there is technically space for about 10. The staff were very friendly.

There is parking, round the back of the hotel which will cost you about $13 a day. They can validate your ticket at reception so you don't have to keep paying for it, but I don't think that gives you any sort of discount, which was a bit disappointing. A small discount in parking for hotel guests would have been a nice touch. Of course, as with in-room internet, too many hotel chains don't seem to think that their customers merit such amenities.

I did like this hotel and would stay here again.
