Won't be staying here again. It is a motel, not a hotel, and I am not sure what "plus" there is about this Best Western Plus Carriage Inn. They do not offer breakfast at all. They will refer you to the Denny's on site in their parking lot.
The parking lot is a joke. Good luck finding a place to park any time after 6pm. Plan on walking a distance to your hotel unless you get lucky.
The guy at the front counter was extremely unfriendly. No greeting, no hello, no thank you.. just "credit card and photo id", "sign here and initial here", "here are your keys the place is over there past the under way". That was it!
The room left a lot to be desired. The furnishing is nice, window covering is outdated and doesn't match decor. The bed was comfy and had lots of pillows which I like. It also has a fridge!
Aside from the lack of parking, no breakfast, and a rude employee, the room was not in good shape. The bath tub had a hair in it from the last occupants, the door to the bathroom was broke completely, you had to wrestle it to get it to slide shut, and the towels were rough not nice and fluffy at all, more like motel 6 quality.
We also asked if they provided cribs. They said yes they provide cribs free of charge. Thank God it was free or else I would have complained and told them I was not going to be charged for the use.First off, let me clarify, this was not a crib, but a playpen. The play pen was an outdated model, and it was very dirty. Staining on the side mesh area from something that spilled on it. Stains and food stuck on the mattress. Absolutely gross, if the bed in the room looked like that playpen looked you would be calling corporate. Needless to say we didn't let our baby sleep in that nasty thing, so we had to get restless sleep as we had her in the bed with us.
Oh, and the cable went out while my kids and I were stuck in the room. I called the office to ask what happened and they said maintenance did something and would be fixing it soon. They took my number and said they would give me a call back... THEY NEVER CALLED not too surprised of course. So no cable for a few hours and had to be creative to keep the kids entertained.
Apart from all of the above the place appears nice from the outside. I won't be staying here again. This was a joke, and I feel this is a 2 star hotel nothing close to the 3 star hotels I have stayed at in the past that is for sure.
Don't expect much fro the staff, bring your own breakfast, bring your own playpen, bring your ow...
