Will charge you double if you're not paying attention. Massive construction project underway on south side of hotel - obstruction of partial ocean view rooms and noisy throughout day. Greeted by a horribly rude member of the staff who charged us double because he insisted our pre-paid Expedia booking didn't include the hotel. We paid extra to book a room with a full ocean view. The staff member downgraded our room to a partial ocean view, and said "That's all the ocean view you're going to get. Maybe next time". This hotel may be handicapped accessible, but they most definitely NOT "handicapped friendly". He implied that the Expedia rate was so unspeakably low he couldn't say it out loud, and we didn't deserve anything better than what he was generously giving us. When we complained to Expedia, the hotel booking manager was forced to refund the second booking charge (not yet refunded 3 days later). The manager apologize repeatedly and comped our valet fees of $32. They promise free internet service, but it's a 2x2 free that freezes up immediately and doesn't work at all. They take every opportunity to bait and switch guests to charge for basic hotel services. The room was clean, but nothing extraordinary. The maid staff walked into the room two hours before check-out time to start cleaning. The only pleasant thing about this hotel was the valet staff, and the time we spent away from the hotel.
