I love going to this restaurant because it has a comfortable and casual atmosphere, and I truly enjoy the beautiful patio setting, and ambiance. Once you walk through their gates, it feels like another world, tucked away off Sunset. The food is always consistently good, and with a new chef at the helm, the food is beautifully prepared with care. We started with several appetizers that were farmer's market driven. My entree was the pork belly, which was very tender and tasty. I also tasted the flat iron steak, which was also cooked to perfection. (Note: if you have any nut allergies, let them know immediately. The chef uses a variety of nuts, sometimes hidden in the food). The servers were quite friendly, and attentive, but also very busy. We sat on the patio, and it sometimes gets pretty packed, so I recommend booking your reservations and requesting patio seating, in particular the upper deck. Otherwise, you will be relegated to the quaint and renovated interior restaurant, which is nice, but doesn't have the same buzz. This restaurant is a little hard to find, so look for the 99cents store next door (east of the restaurant). The restaurant is fronted by a small valet/parking lot, and there is no signage or lighting that indicates that there is a restaurant there. Parking is always tough to find in this neighborhood, so either get there early, or valet. All in all, you will enjoy the experience and the food, whether you go in a large group, or for an intimate dinner. It never disappoints.
