My husband I spent one night at this hotel and choose it for it's location near LAX. We arrived at about 9:30 PM and check-in took forever, even though there were just a few people in line.
We had booked a club floor room, knowing that breakfast was offered on the floor beginning at 6AM. Our flight was due to leave at 8:55 AM and we had to return a rental car first.
Upon taking the elevator up to the club floor, two other guests were complaining that their card to get to that floor hadn't worked the whole time they were there. My card worked on the elevator but not when I tried to get in my room!! I had to find a phone, call the front desk and then wait, and wait, and wait for a security guard to come and unlock the door. I ended up sitting on the floor next to the door for what seemed like forever (especially when you are tired!).
The room itself was just okay. The bathroom was small. Not what I expected for a club floor room.
Upon waking and hurrying to get some breakfast before our flight, we found the door locked and no sign of breakfast! (Breakfast was listed as being offered from 6AM to 9AM everyday on the club floor). We called the front desk at 6:10AM and were told that it was coming. Finally, at about 6:30AM, they opened the room and began to serve breakfast. We had to just grab a few things and go! Not the relaxing breakfast that we had planned on!
Also, parking was a pain. The ramp for self-park was several blocks away and almost as expensive as valet.
