“Best Place to Stay Near LAX”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

My wife and I recently stayed here and were trated very well. The service was superb. Parking is pricey (around $30/day), but all parking around LAX is expensive. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was very nice. Breakfast on the concierge level is excellent. Location is perfect for LAX. I highly recommend this hotel.

Your average airport hotel. Rooms are large and nice. A very nice court-yard with pool, very children friendly.
Expensive in-room internet access, and a very expensive breakfast restaurant, it was good though.
Stayed here with 3 kids, waiting to pick-up a camper, and the hotel suited the purpose just fine.

Brand new clean and large room.......... Location was a little far away from downtown/ walk of fame....... Safe and has shuttle 24/7......... Very happy with the price, especially the spa. But I will probably try a hotel in Santa Monica next time when I visit LA if the price is not too high.

Don't stay on 18th floor.

When I first arrived, there was a memo in the room that plumbing repairs were being made between midnight and 4 a.m. Then I heard pipes banging upstairs. It was a one night stop with late arrival and early departure so I didn't try to move, just turned AC fan on high. I went in the hallway exit across from room and that's where it was banging really loud.

Upon checking out, the front desk didn't seem to know anything about it, except that they were making repairs on plumbing from midnight to 4 a.m. But that is when it was quiet.

I speculate that the banging pipes are the hot water pipes and they turn the hot water boiler off between midnight and 4 to stop the banging.

Not sure but beware!

Otherwise the staff were great and the room, as always, was fresh and comfortable.

Stayed between flights so I didn't take full advantage of all the features of this Marriott. It was a typical Marriott but it I felt a little like a Courtyard (which isn't entirely bad... Stay at them a lot too. However, tower exceedingly chintzy with the soaps (one bar of soap in spite of two sinks in separate rooms, less than the luxurious fluffy towels that I often enjoy at Marriotts, and an unstocked end fridge.

But... It was great for what I needed. Bed was comfortable, shower worked well, it was quiet in spite of being very close to the runways, and the front desk service was very good.

Very good and customer service oriented hotel. It is a very well run hotel and the entire staff are very friendly and responsive. The hotel is next to the airport. The price was a little more than others in the area but you get a good hotel for the price
