Check-in was a breeze. I requested early check-in (got in around 1 pm). Nice & clean hotel with indoor swimming pool. Use your AAA discount online for a cheaper room (request early check-in if you'd like at the comments box). You can get 2 kids eat free at the restaurant for lunch of dinner. We didnt get to use it because we were gone all day. Buffet breakfast is free of course just like all Embassy Suites. They had a variety of breakfast items. cook to order omelets and different types of drinks. The rooms are very modern and updated. Breakfast area is clean and well maintained (atrium style). They charge daily parking of like around $20/day. It's still a good deal. We visited hollywood and universal studios during our stay. This is a great hotel. You can just call the lobby on check out day when you are ready to leave (12 noon check out). I have looked around the area for the best hotel with breakfast and this is what I found. About 25 minutes to hollywood and Universal Studios.

My husband, daughter and I stayed here three times during our three week stay in the US. We found this property to be great, better than the Hilton Garden Inn where we stayed during our prior visit to LA in 2009.

Rooms were quite spacious, internet wifi was great, no airport noise and a great breakfast (included in our rate) as well as a managers evening special. Free shuttle to and from the airport which was only a 5 minute drive away. Burger King was a few doors down (although that is about it for food within walking distance) and right next to several car hire yards (walking distance). Definitely our LAX hotel from now on.

I love the fact that the service is always the same. The older gentleman in the restaurant provided exceptional customer service as did the bellhop that. Looks like a young Brendan Fraser. The check in man probably in his late 30's did what he had to do and no more I felt like I was a nuisance. He was just not very forth coming when I was asking for advice. The older gentleman on the morning of the 5th was lovely and I wish he had been in I checked in on my birthday on the 4th. Ill stay there again due to proximity, shuttles and breakfast being included, the beds are also very comfortable. Ill wait for a response prior to posting this to tripadvisor.

We stayed over one night after a long flight from Hawaii. The corner room we got was very big and clean. Yes, the hotel overall is a bit dated, but the room interiors are updated and bright. The breakfast buffet area in the main lobby has plenty of space and the food served was very good and being replenished as needed. We did have a late small supper in the restaurant and it was very good; had caesar salad and crab cakes. Service was a little slow, but it was 10:30 at night and we were the only ones there. Also, very attentive front desk service. We had left something on their shuttle; it was retrieved and hand delivered to us. Their shuttle service to LAX early next morning was quick. Would stay again.,
