I'm stuck for three nights at one of the lousiest Sheraton's I've EVER stayed at. I've traveled on business for over 20 years and for a downtown LA hotel, this property is very lacking. The "AC and heat" are merely a lever that goes from HOT to COLD, and the AC is an ON or OFF switch. It's about 75 degrees in this room and there is NO way to get it cooler. The windows are sealed shut-even the little ones that only open 3 inches are bolted shut (for security they say). Front desk and "engineering" both are very apologetic that ALL rooms are this way, even the suites, and that it is "a very old building" as the only explanation. The $12.95 per day internet is less than 3mpbs download and less than 2 mpbs upload (VERY SLOW!) There is NO towel rack in the bathroom except the metal one inside the shower curtain holding all towels. This room is rather ghetto/low-class room for what is usually a good brand. This is not a very Merry Xmas here! We're wishing we'd just gone to the Westin or back to the Omni.
