This is an awesome Hotel. If you are going to the Staple Center or anything in that area of Pico and Figueroa and you are looking for a great place to stay, this is the spot. The Luxe Staff was outstanding and very helpful, I had the Superior King suite where the bed just cradled me. The shower is awesome really wakes you up, everything was super clean. I can`t wait til they are finished with their restaurant I can tell it`s going to be outstanding. So once again if you are going to be visiting this area this is the Hotel to stay at and the price was very good!

I love staying at this hotel when I am in downtown LA. It is a great location, staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and nicely decorated in a cool manner. It is the perfect style of hotel I like to stay in and it is also a great value. Thank you Robert and Adrian for such great service at check in.

Room Tip: All rooms are great! Beds are awesome and no noise and we were right next to the elevator.

I stayed here February 20th, 2012 for 1 night while going to a Kings game. The location of this hotel is perfect. Right across the street from LA Live. I have a view of the ESPN Zone, Ritz Carlton, and a ton of restaraunts. The hotel was clean, quiet, and a great place to stay. Nice stand up shower with the shower head coming out of the roof, which is perfect because I am 6'4''. Will definately be coming back to the Luxe next time I am in LA.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who has plans at the Staples Center or Nokia Theater. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and there was plenty of entertainment and dining options within walking distance. They provide robes, slippers, and wonderful toiletries! The shower was beautiful but the head was not working properly and we requested a non smoking room but there weren't any available. The smell of stinky cigarettes really disgusted me but if they had a non smoking room available I honestly would not have any complaints. I recommend taking a car to and from the airport. I would stay at this hotel again for sure.

Location - The location is outstanding. It is located just across the street from the Staples Center / Nokia Theater / LA Live Area and easily within walking distance of most of the downtown area. The hotel also has convenient access (through a 10 min drive) to the USC Campus (visiting campus was the purpose of my stay).

Room - Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite (king bed in one room + living room / kitchenette in another room) which wasn't expected. The suite was spacious in the bedroom and living room. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but didn't bother too much. Rooms in the suite were all extremely clean and put together.

Service - We stayed at the hotel for only two nights, but all hotel employees that we encountered were extremely friendly and accommodating. We did not ask for housekeeping during the day after our first night since we arrived late and were in the hotel during the day. Housekeeping noticed and called the room to make sure that we did not need service and asked if we needed clean towels - a gesture not seen at many comparable hotels.

Amenities - Parking ($25 per night - self-park or valet) was readily available immediately next to the hotel for convenient access. The lot is spacious and there were plenty of spots. The main downside of this hotel was lack of a couple amenities. I believe that they are doing some type of renovation, so the closure should be temporary. The fitness center was closed and the onsite laundry was temporarily unavailable for repairs. Also, they are building / renovating something on the outside of the hotel, but I'm not sure what that was. The Luxe does not have a pool which is a downside if looking for some relaxation in busy downtown.

In the end, I would definitely consider staying at Luxe City Center next time I am in the area. The stay was great. If with family or wanting a pool, I might consider elsewhere that actually has a pool though.

Stayed here on multiple visits to Staples Center and gets better every time. Still a little noisy due to thin walls, but newly designed rooms are holding up well and the lobby looking fancier every time I visit. Will continue to be my stop downtown.

I am so happy they built this hotel. Perfect location next to the staples center for all your entertainment needs. All the employees are friendly and helpful. The room was amazing. Nice big king sized bed, big soft pillows, clean room, big flat screen tv, movies you can watch that are not out on DVD, big bathroom with walk in shower. I have stayed here multiple times and will stay again. Can't wait for the resturant to open!!!
