Booked into the Double Tree in downtown Los Angeles by my client, I found the hotel to be an overall nice experience. Front desk staff were efficient, but fell short of stellar. The common areas and room were both spotless and nicely appointed. The room was large with a nice office area. Starbucks directly downstairs. A couple of eateries nearby, along with those in Chinatown, but not an area I particularly wanted to be walking after hours. Overall, reasonable value for the cost of lodging.
