I needed to stay for 2 weeks in LA near the Hospital. I was worried about staying in this low bugdet place, but was pleasantly suprised. The room was much nicer and newer than I expected. It is still low budget, don't get me wrong but I didn't feel the need to run away. My room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom acceptable.

The area around the hotel is safe but not very nice. Up Vermont street there is actually a pretty nice small stretch of restaurants with outside seating. There are 2 grocery stores within 1 block (the room has a microwave and fridge) and there is a coin operated washer/dryer on the premise. The hotel is quite far from Hollywood (not walking distance) but with care or metro (1 block away) it really is not a big problem.

Needs for improvement are the friendly but rather unhelpful staff, the dirty pool furniture (haven't seen anyone clean it in 2 weeks) and noisy rooms. The walls never completely shut out the traffic noise from busy sunset drive, and although I never noticed most of my neighbors I was unluckly to have to hear love making or heated discussions once in a while (especailly the weekend when the place is packed).

This hotel is convenient to Hollywood, the beaches, Burbank and easy to get to a Dodgers game. The property is old, but the rooms are clean and they had good customer service. There was a Vons was right around the corner so we were able to put juice and drinks in the fridge. The unit A/C blew right on one of the beds, but otherwise this basic hotel room was perfect for our needs. A place to sleep while we were being typical Hollywood and Los Angeles tourists.

This is a standard motel, nothing more, but nothing less. Room was clean, good sized, parking adequate, typical motel breakfast. Very close to Metro and bus lines. Staff friendly. If all you need is a decent place to sleep in this part of LA, this motel does the job just fine, and at a very reasonable price.

The hotel is in a great location for the price. The rooms were clean, good size, equipped well, friendly staff, free parking and nice swimming pool.

Everything great only one thing happened was that we couldnt get into the hotel for 4 hours with our car as the police had closed the road in all directions as right outside the hotels drive the police had just shot down dead a guy who robbed a liquor store. A bit mental but they say tha doesnt happen very often. Other than that we felt really safe
