i was very dissapointed with the property. the outside of the hotel was very run down and dirty. Staff not very helpful and rude. I had called to ask for directions and the male who answered was not at all helpful!! when i checked in i wanted to pay cash for the room and same male said he didnt know or was not sure on how to take cash payment, but he took my deposit anyways. Security also was very poor! My room key was not working so I went to the front desk and 2 male clerks were at the desk . I informed them my room key was not working. I gave them my room number and they didnt even ask to verify my identification! Also there were so many wet spots i the hotel that guests could have slipped and fallen. There were not caution signs! also when I arrived home, i found that I was charged $10.00 for no reason! I demand the amount credited! nowhere on the website does it say there will be a $10 fee! And it was never mentioned!. I was also given the wrong room type. Clerk made me feel it was my fault !!!

I was on a girls trip on our way to coachella music festival in Indio, CA. I loved the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor was very cool. Our room was great and the pool was on the small side but that was the least of our worries. The location was good and the little cafe was very cool. The food was really good especially for breakfast, it was a bonus that the cafe stayed opened till 3 am. The front desk staff was very helpful for suggestions on restaurants and nightclubs. I will defentially stay there again.

Affordability, free wi-fi, and walking distance to the Pantages were my reasons for booking the Best Western Hollywood Hills. As a bonus, the room had a nice kitchenette with a coffee maker, fridge, kitchen sink and microwave. Many pricier hotels do not have those amenities. Our stay was very comfortable and the next time I go to the Pantages I will definitely book this hotel again.

The slight cons:
The exterior of the hotel is a little rundown, but the inside rooms are fine and besides, Hollywood itself is a little rundown anyway. The elevator was out of order when we visited, but the hotel clerks offered to help us with our luggage (we declined because it was only one flight of stairs).

I stayed along with my boyfriend and 10 yr old son in the two queen bedroom suite. We loved it very clean and comfortable. We were impressed with the his and hers granite countertop sink. It may not look much from the outside but the inside is nostalgic with pictures of Hollywood stars from past and current. Walking distance from all major tourist attractions. Helpful front desk staff. The only down fall was limited parking area. :)
