“All around great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

Love Four Seasons, love the location in BH, love the service, love the food, love the pool and hot tub, love the bar, love the house bar. Not much else to say - worth every penny.
Also pretty cool to see some of the big stars who stay there - they obviously know a good place when they see it too.
We'll back back when we visit LA.

Our stay at the Beverly Hills Four Season surpassed our expectations. Our stay with our kids was personalized. Cookies and milk were awaiting them on our arrival. My kids loved the children size robes and slippers. Having the kids names on the shower door was a nice touch. I totally appreciate the attention to detail for the younger hotel guests... Which makes my stay as pleasant as possible when traveling with children.

The Pool was the highlight of our kid's stay... My kids loved the pool and the available toys and services. I loved that I can have shade placed in the area where we needed. There was sunscreen lotion available if you forget to bring your lotion. Four Seasons thinks of everything.

Overall stay was awesome. We would stay here if the opportunity arises.

This hotel lived up to expectations and we would use it again. We thought the beds were very comfortable, the suite was of a good size (600 sq ft) and had a great view out the front over LA.

We had room service a few times, and thought the prices were pretty reasonable for a hotel of this calibre, and was delivered super quick - always under 10 minutes. The morning pastries were particularly delicious!

We managed to use the house car on one occasion (a brand new 2013 rolls royce silver shadow) - this is a pretty cool way to turn up to a restaurant.

The bar was great - good cocktails and entertaining live music on the nights we were there.

I was a little concerned that we would be too far from any shopping or coffee shops, which was true as you could not easily walk to any, but, their taxi service at concierge was very fast - we waited no longer than 30 seconds for a taxi, on each occasion. The plus side of being here is that it is a very safe neighborhood and of course you have the added panache of being in Beverly Hills.

Overall a very good hotel.

I read the reviews on trip advisor plus had a recommendation from a like minded friend and based on that, made the decision to stay here (that and the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire was showing a no vacancy for our dates). I just have to say that I found this hotel to be well below the calibre I would expect from a Four Seasons.
Our room (excecutive king studio) had quite a small sitting room but at least the bedroom was reasonably big. The walls are paper thin, the decor is very old and tired.
HOWEVER:
The staff were all lovely.
The complimentary hotel car, which will take you anywhere within a certain radius of the hotel, was FANTASTIC although it is a necessity as it is impractical to walk to shopping and dining areas from the hotel. We never really had to wait for long either and it was very simple to organise a return trip once we were finished.
The bed was EXCEPTIONALLY COMFORTABLE.
Culina Restaurant was excellent as well.

To sum it up, this is a small hotel in a suburban area. I was disappointed in the overall feel of it. Not at all what I expect when I think of Four Seasons.

We have extensively traveled and stayed at many of the Four Seasons resorts world-wide. This location did not disappoint. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The pool area is lovely and the hotel restaurants are wonderful. The concierge totally set us up with reservations at L.A.'s top restaurants--amazing tables at all of the best spots. We saw celebrity after celebrity, both at the hotel and at the restaurants. My fav was Gwyneth Paltrow. We also went on a private tour set up by the concierge. We had an awesome tour of the neighborhoods of the homes of the stars. SO MUCH FUN!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in the States and stayed at the Four Season's Beverly Hills for a few nights. Wow! Really great service from all the services (Concierge, house car, doorman, pool) in the hotel. To top it all off, we were spolit by the hotel with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for our speacil occasion which we greatly appreciated and enjoyed! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud with an awesome view of LA to wake up to. We will stay at the hotel again.

Usually the Four Seasons chain blows your socks off with outstanding customer service but we did encounter a couple blips on our weekend vacation. A friend and I booked a room online that had two beds but when we checked in, they had no rooms available with two beds. The front desk told us we could get a cot rolled in but for the $500 we were paying a night, that wasn't really an option in our minds. When we told her that wouldn't work, she checked her computer for about another 10 minutes but had no other ideas. When I suggested she upgrade us to another room class, she said she could but it wouldn't be complimentary but an extra $125 per night and it wouldn't have two beds but a bed and a sofa bed. After her clicking away and talking to her manager for another 10 minutes we reluctantly agreed to the extra charge as we just wanted to get our long weekend started. She asked us what time we wanted turn down service, we signed for the extra charge and started our mini vacation. When we returned to our room around 11pm after dining in Culina (outstanding coconut sorbet), the turn down service missed our room and we had to call to get our sofa bed outfitted with bedding. At this time we tried to turn on the sitting room tv but it didn't work. We used the iPad in the room and asked maintenance to fix it around 10am the next morning by using the iPad maintenance form. The next day around 5:30pm after shopping and lounging by the pool, the tv was still not fixed so we called down and someone came up shortly after and got it going. As well the service at the pool was very, very slow. It took us forever to get the water and menus we requested and even longer for someone to come and take our food and drink orders. It was quite painful.
That being said, the Four Seasons is a beautiful hotel with a fun lounge with live music and some interesting regulars hanging out. Our breakfast and dinner meals at Culina were fantastic and the service in the lounge and restaurant were great. The house car, a stunning Rolls Royce, kept us in five star style when going out to dinner. We did have a fantastic time, enjoyed the hotel amenities and probably would stay again but I would make sure I wasn't paying $625/night for one of us to stay on a sofa bed again.
