Let me start by saying the too short girl's weekend was awesome because of the 4S LA! Kris, at the front desk, was absolutely amazing. After he heard my friend and I were celebrating our Birthdays he upgraded our suite and immediately sent up a birthday cake treat to our room! He set the tone for the stay and all of the other 4S employees followed suit!
The Room..
We stayed in suite 1110. It was beautiful with a great balcony and a distant view of the Hollywood sign!! The king bed was comfortable and the pullout wasn't bad for a pullout! The space in the room is great. It would be perfectly suitable for a family of 4. There are TVs in the bathroom, living room and master bedroom. We had full size waters each day and the turn down service was nice. In Maui turn down also includes chocolates and the radio is tuned into a nice soft jazz....this might be a nice touch to add.
The Pool..
It isn't huge, but it is nice. We had the unfortunate luck to be there while they were refinishing the pool deck...it was noisy and a bit smelly, but it wasn't horrible...the benefit to you is that they are done! One tip is to ask for a little screen that attaches to the chair and shades your face from the sun! The frozen lemonade was awesome!
The Location..
The hotel area is great. You can walk to Robertson and really to West Hollywood if you don't mind a little bit of a hike. If this isn't your cup of tea have the house car take you within a 2mile radius of the hotel. Before 5pm you will ride in a Mercedes...after 5pm it is a Bently Phantom..Ghost. It is heavenly! Ray, one of the drivers is amazing...he had great stories!
This 4S was everything a 4S should be...thank you for an amazing trip!
