If you can afford to stay here, it's worth it. The service is top-notch, the location is excellent for walking to local restaurants and the Farmer's Market, and the star watching is fun. We also did a food tour with MeltingPot Tours at the Farmer's Market and up West 3rd street - this location was very convenient for that.

Room Tip: Rooms that face west have an amazing sunset view.

This Hotel oozes Luxury. I had a wonderful stay at The four Seasons. From pulling up in the driveway you are treated like a valued Guest. The check in was wonderful ,I had Kisha from the front desk check me in and then escort me to my elevator, she was pleasant and set the bar for service at this hotel. My room was well appointed with a balcony facing the front of the building and a nice view especially at night. The bed was super comfortable. The room was impeccably clean and the bathroom was well laid out and comes complete with a flat screen TV. The grounds of the property are well manicured and it shows that someone cares. Great Place for a stay in the LA area.

I love this hotel and after trying other options am back!!! And what a weekend to be back, its GRAMMY weekend and the hotel is buzzing. I love the pool at this hotel(even in the cold weather) this pool is hands down the best in the city. The hotel service is spot on!!! The driveway is so organized, and upon check in everyone is friendly and professional beyond. I love my bed in my room, and love room service. Heading down to the beautiful bar, and then to Culina for some great food. This is a five star hotel!!! I want to spend forever here!!!

Lovely property in a great location. Wouldn't like to see them try to cut corners to save money in this current economic climate. Luxury is luxury after all. If one wants to save money, go to a different hotel

Room Tip: I had standard room but still great. All rooms have balconies

After being assigned a last-minute business trip to the L.A. area to shoot a video featuring a celebrity spokesperson, I was in a pinch as to where to shoot and where to stay.
I contacted one of the Media Relations staff (it was a cold call) and from that moment on, all details were taken care of. The shoot took place the week leading up to the Golden Globes -- and despite that -- they were able to accommodate us with a beautiful suite. This suite not only provided us with a beautiful video shoot venue, but we used it for our lodging as well. This saved our company a lot of money. But the best part was that the property and its staff did everything possible to make things "happen" -- easily, efficiently -- and with major smiles. LOVED IT!

this is a four seasons hotel so alot is expected. check in experience with Keisha was great , what you'd expect. pool was very nice too.
the restaurant which was recommended by friends was a disappointment no one liked their dinner. we found out later they changed the chef so this five star hotel has a restaurant that had a full table of 4 people who didnt like their food. not normal at all .part of a great vacation is great meals.

the thing that was most bothersome was we booked thru american express and we had breakfast included, we stayed in four seasons last year and also had breakfast included , $80 dollars for two people- sounds like alot till you see the prices in the menu its easy to go over that amount . Heres the thing this time the amount was $57.00 and here is where it gets interesting.
we found out our friend who booked the trip thru a different travel agent and is in the hotel with us had $80.00 for breakfast , so not all guests are treated equally,
I mentioned something to the front desk about this and they said there is nothing they can do, we tried reaching the manager because at this point its more about principal , he wasnt available but Adam Sydenem helped us and told us he cant do anything he suggested we dont book thru amex next time.
i can say there wont be a next tiime for me in a four seasons in the near future and i have stayed in many of them all over the world. any 5 star hotel that would not accommodate someone for the cost of what is 2 glasses of juice is not giving five star service, i wouldnt care but we had a different allowance before and our friends had a different allowance now.


further breakfast service today was poor.

I reserved an executive suite and was upgraded to executive deluxe (effectively the same room), 749$/nt. A small suite and very odd layout as the bathroom was located near the front door--not close to bedroom but rather through the sitting area. I asked for my room to be changed--or even downgraded to a better layout. I was told "we have space and we can make you a great deal for 200$ more nt", I declined. I checked out early the next day and moved to Mr. C's. The only comment i received from the front desk was clerk was " I hope you enjoy your next hotel". I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call later that day from the Four Seasons, but it was really a "dollar too little and day too late"
