“Favorite Local Hangout”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

This small, local spot is always packed. Salads are big, fresh and great-tasting. Breakfasts are always fresh and delicious, and the peach iced tea is oh so good! Caesar is our favorite waiter and we love Marcos. Don't miss this hidden, local gem.

“Good choice for healthy fare in the Palisades”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Yes, it's crowded, filled with families with loud children. But Cafe Vida consistently serves up high-quality, fresh and inventive fare, with excellent daily specials in addition to the regular menu, which is filled with a variety of tasty choices for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The variety of soup choices are always especially good. On a pleasant evening, you can sit on the sidewalk tables and avoid the crowded noisy cramped atmosphere indoors.

“Busy Palisades brunch joint”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2012

*for breakfast-Busy, crowded Palisades joint with really good healthy breakfast choices. The multigrain pancakes are really good. The open face organic kale and egg sandwich is fantastic. However, only offered on Sundays. The have a good selection of fresh juices too. Expect a wait. Also filled with industry people, if that's not your crowd stay home.

“Healthy and delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2011

Ive had about everything on the menu and I have enjoyed all of it. Always flavourful, fresh, and healthy. Can't be beat for value. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus brunch on weekends, this place is practically always jammed for good reason.

“Save yourself from the frustration. Just go somewhere else.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2011

Slow service, screaming kids, food is so-so if you even get it when it's hot, and it's overpriced. Too few wait-persons who don't really listen to your order. It's hard to tip for crappy service/food when the owner is too cheap to hire employees. And that's what he expects, the tips to pay the workers salary's. Way to run a business.
