Let's start off with one word - WOW!! This was the best experience we have ever had when staying out of town. We arrived a bit early and the staff was very accomodating and allowed us to go to the suite early. We stayed in the Parisian Suite and when we walked in, we were in awe. It is absoultely beautiful and very spacious. It is basically an apartment with all of the amenities. The kitchen had all appliances and utensils and the bathroom had shampoo, etc. We had my 15 year old nephew and his friend with us and they both said it was the best "hotel" that they have ever stayed at. The beds were extremely compfortable and we have even asked where to get the sheets because we loved them so much. The weekend we were there was very hot - averaging 100 degrees! The AC was not very strong, but with all of the windows open, it was perfect.
Do not be alarmed by the neighborhood - it is not as nice as the Villa Delle Stelle, but we felt very safe in our Suite.
We recommend this place 100% and will be back!

We stayed in the English Suite last year after I came across the Villa Delle Stella website whilst looking for accommodation in Los Angeles. The suite has a piano that belonged to Dudley Moore (the owner of Villa Delle Stella was married to Dudley). There are photographs of Dudley, DVDs of his films and books about him which I enjoyed reading. You can tell that the owner of the accommodation is an interior designer as it is very tastefully presented. There is a lounge area with flat screen television, full kitchen facilities, dining area, bedroom and bathroom. We used a washing machine and tumble drier outside the suite. The parking space is small if you have a large vehicle as we did but it is not impossible to park. There is useful information on Los Angeles and tourist attractions in the suite. When we arrived we were met with a bottle of wine and cheese on the dining table which was a nice touch. The only downside of the accommodation is its location in what could be described as a deprived area. I was surprised and saddened at how run down Hollywood is, it is such a shame to see beautiful buildings becoming derelict particularly those in an art deco style. My favourite attraction was the Hollywood Museum in the Max Factor building which was fascinating and not too far from the Villa. It would be great to see more investment and regeneration in the Hollywood area in recognition of unique history.

My family and I stayed for 5 days at Art Deco Suite. We felt like home. Everything was 5 stars. The location is great, just 8 blocks from Chinese Teathre. Each suite has its own private parking, so you don't have to worry for that.
If I would definitely choose it again!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Villa Delle Stelle in September 2007 for 5 days during our 2 week holiday touring California. We had a splendid 5 days in LA especially thanks to Villa Delle Stelle.

First off it is in an excellent location to easily find your way to all the central attractions in LA as well as bars and restaurants on Sunset Strip.

Villa Delle Stelle itself is LA's best kept secret. It is a cosy home in the big city. We stayed in the ground floor apartment, and came away with no complaints. Loads of space, good size living room with plasma tv, dining room, kitchen, bath room and bedroom. Everything is spotless and in good working order. You really do feel like at home in Villa Delle Stelle.

Just down the road from Villa Delle Stelle are some local shops for you to stock up on groceries.

If your not familiar with the area and you are driving there from the airport, you might want to get Sat Nav with your car, but its not too hard to find.

After our long flight, we were so happy to get to Villa Delle Stelle and put our feet up.

As I said before the location is perfect, all of LA's main attractions are close by and it is also within easy reach of the freeway if you want to explore further out of the city. We visisted Venice beach and Santa Monica a couple of times during our stay and would recommend you do too. Santa Monica is beautiful and you cant beat an afternoon on the beach (don't forget plenty of sun cream) their after visiting the shops inland.

I don't have a single bad word to say about Villa Delle Stelle, but a couple of things you might want to consider before visiting LA. If your from England don't be expecting a City Center full of bars. If you want a lot of night life do a little planning to as where the bars you want to go to are. Although you will find quite a few on Sunset strip, as well as fine places to eat. Second thing, just chill out and enjoy LA.

My mother and I took a quick trip to LA in January and stayed in the Bungalow suite for two nights. It was very charming and private, with adequate space for 2-4 people if you don't mind a cramped bathroom. The Bungalow is tucked behind the main house and feels secluded, with very little street noise audible from inside. I'd highly recommend the Villa to anyone looking to stay in Hollywood. I'll definitely make an effort to go back the next time I'm in the area. It's lovely.

My only warning is that if you have a large vehicle, parking may be a challenge, particularly if you're in the Bungalow, as the spot is all the way at the end of the driveway. It's a small space around a tight corner. Backing out with a large rental car was difficult.
