“Cozy place if you are visiting Los Feliz_Griffith Park Observatory”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is a lovely al fresco place where you order what you would like from a variety of great salads, sandwiches, entrees and they will bring it to your table. It is the perfect outdoor place in sunny Los Angeles. You'll be surrounded by beautiful trees and people!

“Yum yum yum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013 via mobile

I love the eggs benedict. As I'm always trying new places for breakfast this one is a winner. The wait times on the weekends can be a bit of a challenge but definitely worth the wait.

“Worth the drive to Los Feliz”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

went there for easter and despite the crowd service was quick and food amazing. Great place for breakfast/brunch. all 3 of us and versions of eggs benedict. all loved them. Wished I had tried the carrot cake french toast special. Hopefully next time. We were staying in Beverly Hills and glad we made the drive

“Cool Mexicali feel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Went to the Alcove last Saturday. My kids and wife have been raving about this place since a couple of years back. Finally succumbed to their pleading. Ordered the crepe, burger and an omelet. Everything was decent but what sets this place above others is the beautifully done courtyard. An escape from Los Angeles within the city. A brief respite from the hubbub of downtown LA. The coffee was great too. BTW free refill on the coffee.

“Great late night find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

You cannot go wrong with the atmosphere or the food! Be prepared to eat outside since indoor seating is very limited. The Big bar is right next door and they ahare the outdoor seating. Dessert is amazing!
