This is the first time I've been to Vermont since it remodeled and added the separate bar area. The bar scene next door was certainly more active than the restaurant, but to be fair it was Monday after the Super Bowl. There was some confusion with the menu as one person had different choices than the other two, but that was easily sorted out. The food was good - one friend had the lobster bisque and sablefish, one had the mussels appetizer and pork chop and I had the roasted beet salad and filet mignon with steak fries. The server was attentive, but not overly so, and the meal was ok. The food isn't terrible, but it's not spectacular either. I'd like to go back in the summer to take advantage of the outdoor patio. It's also great to have the valet parking in the back of the restaurant.
